The AMICUS™ design was created by two friends in middle America who were frustrated with the world and its intolerance, violence, terrorism and war…and wanted to do something about it…even a small thing. The idea was simple: if symbols can be used to separate people, why not use them to bring people together? The two friends are Thomas Sturdevant, the idea man, and Jim Hsieh, the artist.
